Does MP3 quality matter?
Not much. An MP3 compressed for voice is transcribed almost as well as a high-quality one. What does matter is how it was recorded: background noise, distance from the microphone, and whether several people talk at once. For difficult audio, use Owl mode.
Large files
You can transcribe files up to 2 GB. The maximum length is 1 hour per file. For longer recordings, the Hablaki app has no limit.
What if, instead of recording and transcribing, you dictated directly?
With Hablaki, you press a key, speak, and the text appears wherever your cursor is: in your email, in Word, in WhatsApp Web or in any app. Your voice never leaves your device. Try it free for 14 days, no card required.

How many MP3s can I transcribe per day?
You can transcribe up to 5 files a day, up to 1 hour each. With the Hablaki app, there are no limits.
Is my MP3 stored?
No. It's transcribed and deleted when it's done. If you choose “On your device”, it doesn't even leave your computer.
How long does it take?
In the cloud, a one-hour MP3 is usually ready in a minute or two. In “On your device” mode, it depends on your computer.
Can I get the text in Word?
Yes. When it's done, press “Word (DOCX)” to download a document ready to edit.
